A National Feeling of Autumnal Trust.

Everyone always asks why I'm a National Trust member as "I'm not 60", and I always reply with: why not? If I enjoy taking photos of nature/history/beauty, why wouldn't I be? The National Trust own some of the most amazing buildings/lands in the country, and they do everything they possibly can to keep them in the best condition, so that us that enjoy it can go and visit as many times as we like. I know for a fact that Amy wants to go back to Lacock Abbey around Christmas time, not only for the beautiful little village, but to see the abbey in the Winter, and stroll around it feeling all christmassy! If you enjoy walking, enjoy nature, enjoy spending quality time with people, I would recommend becoming a member. For the price you pay for a years membership, and all of the benefits of free parking around loads of nature spots, it's completely worth it! Amy and I worked out that we would have spent more on parking alone when we went to Cornwall than we did for our Membership!

So as it's Autumn, Amy and I decided to go to one of our local National Trust stately homes, Stourhead, to enjoy the Autumnal feeling flowing through the air!

I love it so much. The way the leaves all change colour and the ground gets crispier - This is definitely my favourite time of year.

Another awesome part of Autumn is bonfire night! So as you'd expect.. Camera happy!

Nearly Christmas.. So I will probably do something Christmas related in the next few weeks!

And don't forget, all my pictures (more than just on here) will be posted on my Flickr too!

Owen's Mk3 Golf Estate

Recently, I spotted a few cars around at local meets/events and have tried organising photo shoots with the owners.

One of the guys I spotted at one of the Bristol Krispy Kreme meets, was Owen. I saw his MK3 Golf Estate, and something about it completely drew me in.

After hunting him down, we organised a shoot in Taunton, on the Blackbrook Business Park. However, he did say it was on different wheels to the ones I had seen it on in Bristol..

And the new wheels did not disappoint! A bit different from the 8.5J ACT SX Splits he had on before, he is now running staggered 7.5" and 8.5" BBS RS's.

I asked him how he found the colour he ended up with, and he quite simply said "I went into B&Q and looked at the Dulux Paint charts, found a colour I liked and took it to my powder coater." I was amazed.. The way the blue sits against the freshly resprayed bodywork is almost perfect.

The Golf sits on coilovers at the moment, however Owen did more than hint at getting an Air system set up. Apparently he now has all the parts needed, and plans on fitting it this weekend!

And don't think he's left the tdi engine out either.. Treating it to a few little perks like bigger injectors, EGR blank, EVRY mod and a straight-through exhaust system, this smokey derv can shift if needed.

Owen's Golf is definitely THE best mk3 estate I've seen. If you see the car at shows next year, expect a few more treats on the wagon as well..

Wells Cathedral

Having lived in somerset for nearly 9 years, I can't believe it took me so long to go and visit Wells Cathedral!

It is a spectacular building, architecturally it is amazing.

I visited this beautiful place with my family who had come over from Spain, and was completely taken aback by how huge it is.

Check out the pictures below!

Edition 38 Krispy Kreme Meet - 6th July '14

When I first heard about this meet, I was excited.

The Krispy Kreme meets in Bristol are usually really good, massive turn out and awesome cars.

This one was no different!

I spotted loads of cars I recognize from other meets/shows/shoots, and also got talking to various people about future shoots (coming soon...)

Anyways, here are a few of my favorites from the meet!

I am currently in talks with Matt, Rob and Owen about getting shoots done of each of their cars too, so keep an eye out for these cars soon!

Enjoy Guys!
